After receiving the notification from the post office to receive the payment of the cheque, the recipient has to take payment of the check within seven days from the date of receiving the notification. However, if the recipient requests later payment of the check through a written application within the above period, he can withdraw the amount for the next seven days from the date of exceeding that period.
